Ivan Ivanov, champion of the ITF M25 Ciutat de Tarragona 2026

Ivan Ivanov (BUL), 17 years old, world junior number 1 and winner of both Wimbledon Junior and the US Open Junior, has been crowned champion of the ITF M25 Ciutat de Tarragona 2026 after defeating Alex Marti Pujolras (ESP) 6-3 6-2 in the final on the main court of Club Tennis Tarragona. The match was played in challenging conditions, with strong wind throughout the day. Despite this, both finalists put on a great show and proved exactly why they deserved to be in the final. The Club Tennis Tarragona crowd turned out in force and was treated to an afternoon of high-level tennis. Ivanov, who throughout the week has displayed a maturity far beyond his 17 years, controlled the match from start to finish with his trademark baseline consistency and ability to raise his level at the key moments. Marti Pujolras, reaching his first final at this level after an outstanding week, fought until the end but could not contain the Bulgarian's quality. Congratulations to both finalists and to all the players who took part in this edition of the ITF M25 Ciutat de Tarragona. See you next year.

Martí Pujolras, second finalist: the Spanish dream is alive

Alex Marti Pujolras (ESP), 27 years old, from Barcelona and coached by Narcís Pelach, delivered a brilliant performance against Marcel Zielinski (POL), winning 6-2 6-4 to book his place in the final of the ITF M25 Ciutat de Tarragona. The Catalan played a commanding match, dictating from the baseline and giving the Pole no way into the contest at any point. Marti Pujolras caps an exceptional week in which he has beaten Demin, Barranco Cosano (w.o.), Roca Batalla [6] and now Zielinski to reach the final. Tomorrow Sunday at 11:00 on the main court of Club Tennis Tarragona, Alex Marti Pujolras will face Ivan Ivanov (BUL), 17 years old, world junior number 1 and champion of both Wimbledon Junior and the US Open Junior. A clash between experience and precocious talent, between Spain and Bulgaria, between the 27-year-old peak of a seasoned professional and the 17-year-old rise of a global tennis star. Do not miss it.

Ivan Ivanov first finalist: the world junior number 1 conquers Tarragona

Ivan Ivanov (BUL), 17 years old, world junior number 1 and winner of both Wimbledon Junior and the US Open Junior, has booked his place in the final of the ITF M25 Ciutat de Tarragona after defeating Pavel Lagutin (RUS) in three sets (6-3 3-6 6-2). The Bulgarian started with authority, imposed his game from the very first game and took the first set comfortably. Lagutin, who has been playing since qualifying last Sunday without dropping a single match, fought back in the second set and forced a decider — the first set anyone has taken off him in the entire tournament. However, Ivanov raised his level in the third and gave the young Russian no way back. Ivanov now waits for his opponent in Sunday's final at 11:00. His rival will come from the match between Marcel Zielinski (POL) and Alex Marti Pujolras (ESP), which follows on the main court.
